Questions and Answers
We designed our Jeep JK GM 14 bolt swap kit to make it easy for you to put a one ton GM 14 Bolt in the back of your 2007-2018 Jeep JKU or JK. This kit is designed to work with a GM 14 bolt (AAM 10.5) rear axle out of a 1999-2006 GM single rear wheel 2500 or 3500 pickup . All parts of this kit are keyed to the truss, making installation a breeze. Simply center the truss and set the angle, and all other components will locate off from the truss. This kit includes all of the needed suspension brackets to install a 14 bolt under your Jeep JK, welding is required.
All parts of truss are keyed to fit together, for ease of installation and minimal measuring!
Installation Notes:
-This kit will not work with the older non "ribbed" 14 bolt housings
-The lug pattern on the 14 bolt is 8x6.5 this will not match the factory lug pattern on your Jeep.
-Brake lines, driveshaft, ABS, and vent tube modifications are the responsibility of the end user.
-This kit requires a 14 bolt with a WMS-WMS of at least 68”. This axle is found in 1999-2006 GM 2500 and 3500 single rear wheel trucks. This is the newer style “ribbed” housing, this kit will not work with the older 14 bolt housing.

Q:
I have also purchased the Dana 60 front swap kit and just read my instructions that it will raise my coils up 2 inches. I already have a 4 inch lift I did not see that the 14 bolt instruction states this. Does that does this mean obviously now I have a situation where my front lift wont match the rear with both truss kit welded in? If so I should’ve read through both instructions a little closer before purchasing. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to your response. thanks in advance Mark

A:
The front Dana 60 swap kit moves the coil spring mounting location up 2", due to the size and location of the casting on the Dana 60. Our recommendation is to run 2" shorter coil springs in the front. For example, if you wanted 4" of total lift you would need to run a 4" lift coil spring in the rear and a 2" lift coil spring in the front.

A:
The three link version is undergoing some changes as far as design. Our design team is working from home so that process is going a little slower than normal. You can always check back and we can update you.

Q:
Another person ask will this fit the older 14 bolt. What is the reason why? Could you cut out the 1inch difference of the truss going across the axle tubes in between the coil bucket mount and control arm mount and weld back together? my 14 bolt is 67" wide
