Our Jeep JK 1 ton 7075 aluminium tie rod is one of the most important upgrades you can do to your Jeep JK, not only will you get larger stronger tie rod ends, but you will also gain the strength and weight savings of aluminium.  The factory steering on the JK is prone to bending with hard trail use, this is where the 7075 solid 1-1/2 inch outer diameter linkages in this kit really shine.  7075 Aluminium is much lighter than steel, but 7075 aluminium is also much more elastic than steel.  7075 Aluminium can be flexed much farther than steel and still spring back to its original shape, this is very important on an application such as steering, because at some point you will hit your steering on something on the trail.  The tie rod ends in this kit are the GM 1 ton tie rod ends that have been used for years in extreme offroad applications.  This means you will have larger stronger tie rod ends with increased longevity. All components of this kit will bolt together, and the entire kit can easily be installed in a few hours with basic hand tools.  This kit is designed to go in the same location as the factory steering (under the knuckle).

Stock wheels will require 1.5"wheel spacers, or you will need a 17" wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing or less!

HOSS JK 1-ton 7075 aluminum tie rod
Tie rod is nicely machined with clean threads that require zero chasing allowing you to thread the TRE's (tie rod ends) in by hand. Offset TRE's included in the kit match the stock taper on the factory knuckles of JK Dana 30 & 44 knuckles so NO REAMING IS REQUIRED, she'll bolt right up. Offset of TRE'S is also enough to clear my Ruff Stuff diff covers at full lock. I opted to clearcoat my tie rod & the included stabilizer bracket & hardware with off-the-shelf aerosol clearcoat to keep them looking as nice as possible. Tie rod came quickly & very well packaged. I haven't been able to beat it on the rocks yet but I'm confident that whatever hits she may take will buff out. Highly recommended. -YJosh 2013 JKUR

Quality Product
My 2012 JKU tie rod was due for a replacement and the simple fact that this is an aluminum rod with 1 ton ends significantly upgrades the Jeep for looks, performance and durability. Haven’t bashed it in yet, but I have less fear of bending a tie rod on the trail now!

Hands down the best tie rod on the market
I looked and compared tie rods and you cant go wrong with this solid aluminum tie rod, and GM 1ton TREs. If you are thinking about replacing your tie rod with heavy chromoly steel, this tie rod is lighter than stock but provide heavy duty results.

Great quality tie rod!
Shopped around for a awhile before I came across the videos of this tie rod in action. Don't waste your money on "big name" brand steel tie bars. This thing is super beefy, looks great and was packaged amazingly. Best bang for the buck by far! Cant wait to get the drag link next.
