Questions and Answers
Our coil spring towers are the best solution you will find for mounting coil springs to the front of your project. These Coil towers are made for 5.5 diameter coils which are the most common coil spring size used for the front of a rig. These coil towers are formed from one piece of steel to maximize strength and durability. The top of the tower will measure 7 from the top of your frame and we offset the tower so that you coils will not come in contact with your frame during suspension cycling. These come with two coil towers and two coil retaining plates.

Very nice. Can't wait to install them. And then try to break them.

Q:
This sits on top of the front frame? Is it for the standard coil spring, i.e. 1989 Jeep Cherokee?
Asked by:
Dan

A:
These are for the standard coil spring and mount on top of the frame rail. However I would imagine you might find it difficult to mount theses on a Cherokee because of the unibody. These work best when mounted to a standard frame rail.

Q:
will these work for a spring that has in ID of 5" and OD of 7" ? I'm doing a fullsize axle swap on a 1979 toyota pick up. the Dana 60 axles I have are from a dodge and these are the supposed dimensions of the springs. any help or advise is appreciated.

A:
These probably won't work for your application due to the fact that these are made for a 5.5" coil spring.

Q:
Would these buckets be compatible with a Wrangler JK spring? I believe the main outside diameter is 5.5inches, but they do taper at the top-side to a reduced diameter (not sure what it is). If you have any insight on this, I'd appreciate it!

A:
This product has not been tested in that application. We do have a dimensional drawing on the website I recommend looking over though.
