In all seriousness, we take the quality of our products and where our products are made seriously. We work daily to design new parts, manufacture those parts in house, and then put those parts into production. We take pride in our work and try our hardest to make sure every customer is pleased with their Barnes 4WD product. If you have a Barnes 4WD product and you're pleased with it, post it up on social media with the hashtag #Barnes4WD
WHAT DOES "MADE IN AMERICA" MEAN?
Here at Barnes 4WD, we go out of our way to make products that we can stand behind. That's really why we and other businesses claim to be "Made In America", because it's a pretty big deal to make your own parts. Imported goods can be as much as half the cost to manufacture. Plus you don't have to fool with equipment, a manufacturing team, or any sort of materials. You just buy, then sell. That's why you see many companies doing this with all the parts they sell. It takes a lot of money, time, and stress to make stuff in house. However, you get a much better outcome. Material quality, operator skill, and process monitoring are all things you have control of when making products in house. This is something that we believe is key to making a product we can stand behind.
First, we cut all of our parts on our Amada Fiber laser, next we bend them in our Amada press brake, then products either go to the shelf, or they are taken to our welding area and they are welded up.
We buy American steel and tubing for all of our bumpers, brackets, tabs, etc.. We have found not only are these metals higher quality, but even welding them together and bending them is a totally different game from working with imported goods. This is another way that when we box up a product to be sent out, we know we've done everything we can to ensure that you're getting exactly what you paid for.
