This is a simple disk brake adapter for the venerable Toy Mini, designed for use with Tacoma Calipers. Why does everyone put GM on the back of a Toyota? The GM brakes were designed for the front of a 5500lb + vehicle, so why would you want such a strong brake on the REAR of a light truck? Ok, I can agree with the front, but just use a late model Cruiser brake up front, the rear SHOULD be weaker than the front. These are bent to the correct profile of the Tacoma Caliper, you will have to either reduce the inside of the rotor or the outside edge of the axle plate end and the cost to do that should be less that the custom hose set to go from Toy to GM calipers. These are made of A50 Plate and are 3/8" thick. Sold in pairs. These brackets are a must for a disk brake conversion! |
