Beadlock wheels are becoming a necessity for today's rigs. We are pushing our rigs harder and harder and need the extra foot print of an aired down tire. Beadlocks provide some piece of mind when it comes to keeping your tires mounted to your wheels. How a beadlock works? Normally, the tire would seat on the existing bead seat. With beadlocks installed the inner edge of the bead seals against the inner lock ring, and the outer edge of the bead, against the outer lock ring. The two are clamped together, retaining the bead and keeping it from spinning on the wheel or pushing off. Barnes 4WD Beadlocks are made in the USA like ALL of our products with ¼" US steal. Our 15" Bead locks have 33 (3/8) bolt holes, 16" have 36 holes, 16.5" & 17" have 39 holes. We make the anti coning ring optional, we use the Anticoning on tires with a bead over 3/4" thick and don't if the bead is thinner. These are designed for Nylock nuts because we see so many failed nutsert applications. Each beadlock kit supplies enough parts to bead lock four wheels. Torque spec for beadlock bolts is recommended at 10-15 ft-lb. A certified welder should perform the welding of these rings to your existing steel wheel to ensure proper installation and no leaks. |
